As I continue looking through old boxes in storage, every once in a while a flyer pops out that reminds me that 23 years ago, I was doing something completely different. The internet was in its infancy and I learned how to email people "across the pond" and invite them to perform shows in Austin.  After having some success in tracking down DJ Krush and bringing him to Texas, I wanted to bring another first-time-to-Austin artist from abroad and that artist was DJ Vadim.  His work on U.S.S.R.

Back in the early days of the internet, circa 2001 in this instance, I was approached by a design company named DC Web Designers who contracted me to design, build, maintain, care and feed a ton of luxury hotel websites.  Most of these hotel websites were for destinations I haven't yet been to, like the Peabody Hotel in Orlando for example; however one hotel I have been to and had the opportunity to design their website was the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Austin.
