Perspective

I love going through old design files from my previous attempts (yes attempts plural) at completing a degree at ACC.  I've had some pretty good instructors.

Visual Communications - Interactive Media was an amazing degree plan...

My first time going to school was with the intention of completing a Radio Television Film degree at the University of Texas. While I was somehow admitted, I was definitely not disciplined enough in 1996 to complete my degree while working full-time to pay rent, etc.  So I went to ACC, and by that time had switched degree plans as "Computer Science" seemed pretty cool.

It wasn't.  My professor for three of my classes was the same person and his affinity for Microsoft so no end.  This person once advised me "Don't bother learning Linux, 99% of the world's servers will be running Windows".  If I would have listened to that man's advice, I would have spent some hours on the phone with the microsoft help desk, luckily I wasn't about that life.

Second, Third, Fourth Attempt.

Radio Television Film, Computer Science, Interactive Media (Flash Animation), ok those were all great journeys but this time my goal was to complete the degree, assuming all goes well.  And I must say, it's definitely improved my perspective, for what its worth.

I am a UX-designer based in Austin, Texas.
